The Oktoberfest in Zurich Hauptbahnhof begins this year on 23rd September and continues until Part of the station is transformed into a beer drinker’s paradise with a tent, traditional Oktoberfest music and of course plenty of beer!
There is bound to be lots of singing, swaying and eating alongside the drinking and as usual there will be traditional Oktoberfest delicacies on offer.
The Beer Tent is open:
Monday–Saturday 4pm – 11pm
Sundays 4pm – 10pm
The “Biergarten” and Lunapark is open:
Monday–Saturday 11am – 11.30pm
Sundays 11am – 10.30pm
On the opening Wednesday it opens at 4pm not 11am.
All the fun takes place in Zurich main station and we recommended that you book a table if there is a group of you going as these tend to go quickly. There are however, some tables set aside for individuals to just pass by and join in. You can book tables

There is also an Oktoberfest taking place at Bauschänzli from 9th October to the 7th November. This year the Bauschänzli Oktoberfest is celebrating its 20th anniversary – so it’s bound to be an extra special celebration.
The opening times at the Bauschänzli are as follows:
Monday–Friday 11am – 11pm
Saturday – 11am 4pm & 5pm – 11pm
Sunday 11am – 6pm
