Now, now, you know that’s not Cotillard’s doctor. That’s French Culture Minister Frederic Mitterrand, who’d just stabbed her in the chest while trying to pin the Chevalier of the French National Order of Arts and Letters medal on her. He still got it wrong and she had to remove it and put it on properly before turning to pose for photos with Mitterrand.
The ceremony took place in the Culture Ministry, Paris, on March 15, 2010.
